Beckenham Residence

This is an interior design project for the family bathroom and kitchen of a semi-detached Victorian house in Beckenham, South London. The first phase focused on transforming the outdated and oversized bathroom by reconfiguring the layout and introducing new materials. Blue glazed tiles and a recessed full-height mirror create a striking feature wall, while the freestanding bath serves as the visual centrepiece of the space. An energy-efficient underfloor heating system and towel warmer ensure excellent thermal comfort throughout.

The second phase centres on redesigning the ground-floor kitchen to create a brighter, more functional hub for family life. Clean lines, calm and natural palette bring a sense of tranquility and connection to the space. Thoughtfully designed cabinetry maximises storage while maintaining a light and open feel, while carefully layered lighting highlights the craftsmanship and enhances the atmosphere from morning to evening.
